Thursday June 23rd we are having another awesome happy hour for current members, new members and not yet members to get together and meet each other!

TheFam (see more about us below) invites everyone to our happy hours. For those who want to join our community, attendance to a happy hour gives you access to our private Facebook group #TheFamNYC,an expansive online and offline community which connects you with great people and great events in NYC and beyond.

We are built and shaped by the participatory nature of our members. We invite everyone to join, but TheFam cannot reach its potential without involvement from all.

We are excited to have DJ Mark Salner play an extended set. Mark joined TheFam a year ago and is soon moving to Miami. His support and passion will be missed in New York, but we are looking forward to expanding TheFam network in Miami. This happy hour is perfect opportunity to send him off in the best way we know how, as he continues his Magical Journey with Universal Love Tribe

Beyond great music, expect awesome people and refreshing drinks.

We will have happy hour drink discounts until 9pm!

Make sure you RSVP for each person and come find Brittany Dove or Peter Nesbitt and check in :)

As part of our art contribution to TheFam's camp at Gratiude, we will be repurposing t-shirts and fabric to create the pillow covers for our large lounge area within our new FamDome. Give your old shirts new life - please bring and donate any t-shirts or fabric you are no longer using. A perfect excuse to clean out your closet!

Mark Salner

Mark Salner started his DJing career back in the 90s with the raves scene. The foundation of Techno and Trance set his soul on fire as his journey to give back to the electronic dance culture blossomed. When he got introduced to the LA scene, with a help from a friend Lenny (Good Times), he finally got a break and was playing arenas with 10 to 15 thousand party goers as well as many other locations around United States. Upon graduating from Institute of Audio Research, Mark recorded a track "Magical Transformation" with extremely talented producer Max back in 1999 and a remix from Medicine Show LA. Organized many big events in NY as well as spinning at the most popular clubs at that time. In 2003 He put his music career on hold to focus on his lifelong passion photography and design. This was an important advancement professionally and personally to transform from boy to man and be responsible to run a busy photo/video studio. As we all know, history repeats itself. Although busy with photo and video projects, he is back to shake dance floor once again with his endless love for House music. Playing Deep House, Tech House, Deep Tech and Electronica at many different events in NYC & Miami sure brings good old memories and ready to create some new once. With the new weekly podcast of Universal Love Tribe on Global Mixx Radio, Mark's mission to connect and promote great underground talent from around the world is coming true. That best is yet to come and looking forward to all the exciting adventures.
